The short version
Sticky Floors doesn't have accounts, doesn't collect your name or email, doesn't use analytics or ad trackers, and doesn't sell or share data with anyone — because there's no server-side database of users to sell from in the first place.
Location
If you grant location access, it's used only on your device, only while you use the app, to sort venues and screenings by distance. It's never sent to us or to any third party.
Films you track
The films you star to track, and your list of tracked films, sync across your own devices through Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store, under your own iCloud account. We never see or store this data — it's inaccessible to Placido Inc.
Where the schedule data comes from
Sticky Floors reads public schedule data from two sources, fetched directly from your device:
- zeitgeists.org, for theatre schedules
- The Movie Database (TMDB), for film details, posters, and metadata
These requests aren't logged or stored by us server-side.
What we don't do
- No advertising
- No third-party tracking or analytics SDKs
- No sale of data, to anyone, ever
- No server-side database of user accounts or activity
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and note it in the app's App Store listing.
